“Right now in Kyiv, our rapid response teams are working on the sites hit by the Russian attacks. The main Russian attack during the night targeted the capital and the region, causing significant damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure throughout the city. Thirteen people have been injured so far and, unfortunately, six have been killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Destruction has also occurred in the Odesa region – the ports, food reserves and the infrastructure were hit, without any military purpose. They also hit the Dnipro, Kharkiv and Cerkasi regions. The main targets were the energy sector and everything that ensures the normal functioning of life“, the leader from Kiev wrote in a post on X.

According to the Ukrainian president, “the Russians launched 22 missiles of various types, including aeroballistics, and more than 460 drones, most of them «shahed» Russian-Iranian“.

“Four drones are known to have crossed the airspace of our neighbors – Moldova and Romania – with exact overflight times confirmed. This is precisely why all partners must remember that lives must be saved every day. Weapons and air defense systems are important, as is the pressure of sanctions on the aggressor. There can be no pause in providing assistance. What matters most now is that all partners move together towards diplomacy, through joint efforts. The pressure on Russia must give results. Thank you to all those who are with Ukraine,” he added Volodymyr Zelensky.

Ro-Alert messages in Tulcea, Galati, Vrancea and Bacău

We remind you that the residents of Tulcea, Galați, Vrancea and Bacău received Ro-Alert messages on Tuesday morning regarding the possible fall of some “airspace objects”, after the MApN radars detected two penetrations of aerial targets into the national space. Eurofighter and F-16 aircraft were raised for interception, and the pilots received authorization to shoot down a target that penetrated as far as Vrancea.

A fallen drone was found in the area of Puiești, Vaslui county, said the Minister of Defense, Ionuț Moșteanu. However, he could not confirm at the moment if it is about the drone that flew over some of Romania's counties. From initial assessments, the drone did not have an explosive charge.

Six drones illegally flew over the airspace of the Republic of Moldova

According to the officials of the Moldovan Ministry of Defense, six drones illegally flew over the country's airspace.

“The first aerial device was detected in the direction of Vinogradovca — Vulcănești localities, later moving in the direction of the state border with Romania, in the area between Colibași localities, Cahul district and Vadul lui Isac. The drone was crossing the airspace at an altitude of about 1500 meters. The Ministry of Defense immediately informed the responsible structures, including the IGP, about the case of illegal overflight. Later, five other drones were observed by the airspace surveillance systems of the National Army, crossing the airspace of the towns of Dondușeni, Orhei, Bender, Vadul lui Vodă and Florești. One of these fell on the roof of a house in the village of Cuhurești de Jos, Florești district“, informed the representatives of the structure.

The Moldovans were urged ,,to report any unauthorized object observed and not to touch any object that has fallen to the ground, but to inform the authorities. State institutions constantly monitor the situation and intervene promptly to ensure the protection of the population”.
