The chances of the new peace plan discussed by the US and Ukraine, which is to be presented to Russia, are unclear for now. It is only certain that the war continues with fury, write Reuters and the Kyiv Independent.

Russia launched a large-scale attack against Kiev and other Ukrainian cities on November 25, targeting critical infrastructure and residential neighborhoods with Shahed drones and Kinjal ballistic missiles.

At least six people were killed in Kiev and 14 others, including a child, were injured, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Kliciko announced.

Ukraine's Energy Ministry described a “massive combined attack” on energy infrastructure, which hit power facilities in Kyiv, as well as in Kyiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions.

The attack took place on the day when a US and Russian delegation were to meet in Abu Dhabi, according to Politico and Reuters, to discuss the new peace plan, originally proposed by the US, then modified in Geneva together with the Ukrainian side.

On the same day, the Ukrainian military announced that it had struck a Russian oil refinery in the Krasnodar region and an oil terminal in the port of Novorossiisk.

Kiev has stepped up long-range attacks on Russian targets, particularly oil installations, as the conflict between the two countries approaches four years.

In a statement on Telegram, the General Staff said that oil loading and unloading devices were hit.

It also claimed that a Russian A-60 reconnaissance plane was shot down during an attack on the Beriev military factory.

Separately, an official from Ukraine's SBU internal security service said the attack damaged a large landing craft that was moored near the quay of a naval base in Novorossiisk.
