Krasnoyarsk residents were told in which parks and squares New Year trees will be installed

New Year trees will soon begin to be installed in squares and parks in Krasnoyarsk. Containers with components have already been delivered to the site and will soon begin to unload them, then teams will begin assembling frames and structural elements, the mayor’s office said.

At the expense of the budget, Christmas trees will be installed in the city, which have been delighting Krasnoyarsk residents for many years. They were stored in warehouses, they were checked for the new season, elements and decorations were updated.

Traditionally, 16 New Year trees up to 6 meters high will be installed. They will appear in the most visited locations in different areas:

• in the park named after Chernyshevsky;
• in the park named after Gagarin;
• in Serebryany Square;
• on the square named after Sverdlov;
• in the “Stone Town” park on the street. Shchorsa, 55;
• in Maypark;
• in Enthusiasts Square;
• in the Oktyabrsky lake park;
• in the park named after 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk;
• in Sibstal Park;
• in the “Cossack” park;
• on Yaryginskaya embankment;
• on the square near the Concert Hall;
• in the Solnechnaya Polyana park;
• to the Cosmonauts park;
• For the first time, a Christmas tree will be installed in the Quiet Dawns microdistrict – the one that last year stood on the ring of Predmostnaya Square will be moved there (other decorations are promised in its place).

The main city Christmas tree is already being assembled in Tatyshev Park. “Installation process not the fastest: first they form the frames, then they are decorated with “paws”. Then, using high-altitude technology, the tree is assembled like a children's pyramid. Afterwards, they install light decorations, New Year’s balls and toppers,” the administration said.

​All Christmas trees in Krasnoyarsk must be completely ready by the twentieth of December.
