Masai Russell, second time in history at 100 m fences, at Michael Johnson's competition

The American Olympic champion Masai Russell has set the second best time in history at 100 m fences, in 12 seconds and 17 hundreds, on Friday in Miami (Florida), in the second stage of the new Atletic Circuit Grand Slam Track, informs Agerpres.

Russell has detached his compatriot Tia Jones, who made the third time in history in this test, 12 seconds and 19 hundredths. The two American athletes approached the world record of Nigerience Tobi Amusam, who ran, in 2022, in 12 seconds and 12 hundredths.
