At Monday's press conference after the meeting in Prague, the presidents of Poland and the Czech Republic were asked about the 28-point US peace plan for Ukraine.

When is Karol Nawrocki waiting for Volodymyr Zelensky?
What are your opinions on the US peace plan for Ukraine?
What are the relations between Karol Nawrocki and Donald Trump?
Did the presidents of Poland and the Czech Republic talk about a joint visit to Ukraine?
— I am very happy that Europe is taking part in this. It would be very complicated to consider achieving peace in Ukraine, ending a war that existentially concerns pan-European security, without the involvement of Europe, or at least its main states that will represent European interests, Pavel said.
As he noted, the final peace plan must be “not only realistic in relation to the situation on the battlefield,” but “it must also respect international norms and principles.” According to Pavel, what is important is “the principle that the victim of this aggression will not be punished in the end, more than the perpetrator.”
Karol Nawrocki: only Trump can force Putin to peace
President Nawrocki was additionally asked whether he wanted to use his close relationship with Donald Trump and his administration in the context of the US peace plan. Nawrocki emphasized that during subsequent meetings and discussions, including: with President Trump, “one of the topics, of course, is always what is happening in Ukraine after the attack by the Russian Federation.” He added that his position on this issue has not changed and “there is no doubt that the Russian Federation is the aggressor.”
— There is no doubt that it is in the interest of European countries, including Poland, to strive for permanent peace, and not a peace that will enable the Russian Federation to mobilize its assets and wage another war in the coming years or decades. I look at the Russian Federation as a country that does not keep its agreements, so it is a threat to any potential peace that would be signed – emphasized the President of the Republic of Poland.
In his opinion, “the only person in the world who is ready to force the Russian Federation to peace is the President of the United States, Donald Trump.”
The presidents of Poland and the Czech Republic were also asked about a possible joint visit to Ukraine. — We haven't talked about it at all, but if something like that is planned in the future, I certainly won't be against it, said Petr Pavel. – I am waiting for President Zelensky in Warsaw and I hope that President Zelensky will accept my invitation – replied Nawrocki.
