What Gvozdeva said about Kuhar
According to Gvozdeva, the ballerina cannot judge ballroom dancing on the floor, since “she has never understood ballroom choreography in her life.”
“As for Kuhar, she remains one of the brightest personalities of Ukrainian television,” Gvozdeva wrote on Instagram on November 22. “Her ability to be noticeable, work between two countries and maintain her recognizable style is also a unique talent. But the main thing is to go beautifully “in the rhythm of a pas de deux through the ass into the andedan.”
She also added that Ukrainian artists Natalya Mogilevskaya and Monatik, who also became judges on this project, can judge on vocal shows, but on dance shows it is better to invite professional dancers to the jury.
What did Kuhar answer?
The ballerina hinted that Gvozdeva’s criticism was motivated by the fact that she was not invited to the project. Kuhar compared the choreographer to the heroine of the fairy tale by the French writer Charles Perrault “The Sleeping Beauty” – the evil and powerful witch Carabosse, who was not invited to the holiday. Carabosse in the fairy tale represents the embodiment of evil.
“The framework of folk and ballroom dancing, rhythmic gymnastics is the basics of classical dance plus stretching. Ilona should certainly know this. I respect any professionalism and school if there is work and dedication behind it. We can differ in dance style and experience, and this is the power of art – it is multifaceted. Ilona in this situation reminds me of the heroine from The Sleeping Beauty, the sorceress Carabosse, whom the king and queen forgot to invite to the christening,” said Cook.
