Four children burned alive in Ukraine. The youngest was a few months old


The tragedy occurred on Saturday, November 22. In the evening, rescuers were called to a fire in a residential building in the Uman region. The woman calling for help reported that the fire had spread to the apartment where several of her children were staying.

A premises with an area of ​​56 square meters was on fire. Firefighters took immediate extinguishing and rescue actions. Despite a desperate fight against the elements, the end of the fire turned out to be tragic.

In the ashes, firefighters found the remains of three children and a fragment of the body of a fourth child. “These are probably children born in 2018, 2020, 2022 and 2025,” reports the State Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine.

One child, born in 2017, was saved. He was taken to hospital with first-degree burns on his hands and symptoms of poisoning from combustion products. “Rescuers are currently determining the causes of the fire. The event has been classified as an emergency situation at the local level. Sincere condolences to the family…” writes the State Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine on its Telegram channel.
