Ficus produced 10 new leaves overnight: just water it with this drink – it grows by leaps and bounds

As often happens: they bring home a gorgeous ficus, and a month later it stands pale, with falling leaves. Is this a familiar picture? The plant seems to freeze in development and refuse to grow. It turns out there is an easy way to wake up the sleeping giant. It is enough to use a special fertilizer once every two weeks, which is prepared in 5 minutes from what is available in every kitchen.

Yeast is a real storehouse of B vitamins, auxins and cytokinins. They activate vital processes in the root system, working as a natural stimulant. As a result, the roots begin to actively develop, followed by the above-ground part.

You will need:

  • 10 grams of dry yeast (about 1 tablespoon);
  • 1 tablespoon sugar;
  • 1 liter of warm water.

All ingredients are thoroughly mixed in a jar and left in a warm place for 2-3 hours to activate fermentation. The resulting mash is diluted with clean water in a ratio of 1:5. That is, add 5 glasses of water per glass of concentrate.

How to use correctly

Preparation. The day before feeding, water the plant abundantly with plain water. This protects the roots from burning.

Watering. Water the ficus with yeast solution as usual: until the earthen ball is completely moistened.

Mode. Use this fertilizer no more than once every 2-3 weeks during the period of active growth (from March to October).

Already after the first procedure, the effect becomes noticeable: the plant literally comes to life before our eyes, powerful shoots and glossy leaves appear.

Experienced gardeners recommend adding wood ash to the soil a week after fertilizing with yeast. One teaspoon is enough, scattered over the surface of the soil and carefully mixed with the top layer. Ash replenishes the deficiency of potassium and calcium, which are actively consumed by the plant during rapid growth.
