Lawyer Alexander Khropot, defending ex-State Duma deputy and Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Sergei Natarov, announced selective enforcement against his client.
According to him, on November 5, in court, the former head of Igarka, Evgeny Nikitin, during his interrogation, said that along with Resurs LLC, which was one of the suppliers of inventory for the needs of Igarka in 2016-2018, there were other suppliers.
“According to official data from the Federal Tax Service of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which the court requested at our request, along with LLC Resurs, dozens of other enterprises supplied goods: LLC Dals, Restro, Turis, Paritet, House of Household Goods and many others on equal terms. But criminal cases were initiated only for supplies from Resurs LLC, while for some reason the other companies did not arouse the interest of either the prosecutor’s office or the Investigative Committee,” noted Khropot.

“We consider this selective enforcement against Sergei Natarov. Nikitin emphasized that he reported these facts during the investigation. We see how an economic issue was turned into a criminal case, only because we are talking about a person with an active civil and political position,” says Sergei Natarov’s lawyer.
Let us remind you that among the violations of the law charged to Sergei Natarov are “illegal trade markup” and “artificially inflated price” for supplied goods. The case included data on a premium of 10-35%, although other entrepreneurs, called as witnesses in court, said that they themselves apply a premium of up to 100%. The expert who calculated the amount of damage could not explain what formula he used for this, and the head of the Turukhansky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Oleg Sheremetyev, stated that Sergei Natarov had nothing to do with the supply of goods to Igarka.
