The European Council has decided to intensify military aid for Ukraine. How much money will the EU Kiev send in 2025

The heads of state and government of the European Council have reconfirmed the financial and military support for Ukraine, as well as its right to self -determination. European leaders have agreed that the financial assistance offered by the European Union of Kiev this year will exceed the amount of 30 billion euros, in Tima which Member States are committed to intensify Milt's support for Ukraine.
In the press release issued after the Brussels meeting of the European Council, it is said that the EU is prepared to intensify the pressure on Russia for it to agree with an armistice, followed by “significant negotiations”, being invoked the possibility of a new sanctions against Moscow, to target the energy and financial sector, Putin.
“The European Council reaffirms the constant and unwavering support for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within the internationally recognized borders,” the statement said.
European leaders want to support the development of the Ukraine's defense industry and invite Member States to continue military assistance for Kiev.

“The European Council asks for Member States to continue to intensify efforts to solve the pressing defense needs of Ukraine, especially by delivering anti-aircraft and anti-Drone systems and high caliber ammunition to help Ukraine exercise their right of self-defense, to protect their citizens and the territory against Russia,” Russia said.
The support is expressed for a peace agreement to provide solid security guarantees for Ukraine, the EU guarantees and its members are willing to offer.
Another commitment that the European Union makes is to provide regular and predictable financial support. Thus, in 2025 the EU will send Ukraine 30.6 billion euros, of which 3.5 billion were already sent through the Ukraine facility and 7 billion through the G7 initiative, which will compensate for the profits of Russia's frozen assets.

New EU commitments to Ukraine, regarding the post-war restoration of the country, will be taken in a special conference that will take place in Rome on July 10-11.
