In response to a question from CNNWhat will happen if Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky does not accept the US plan by the deadline, Trump replied: “Then he can continue to fight as much as he wants.”
A day earlier, in an interview with Fox News, the US president confirmed reports that Ukraine had until Thursday to accept the proposal. In the conversation, Trump said that Zelensky must “like” the proposed peace plan, otherwise Ukraine should continue fighting. In Trump's assessment, Ukraine “does not have any cards” that could change the situation to Kiev's advantage.
Trump's comments referred to Zelensky's Friday speech. In it, the President of Ukraine pointed out that the country faces a difficult choice: losing a key partner or losing its dignity.

The plan also included a proposal to station Western fighters in Poland.
Trump's proposals regarding Ukraine are causing mixed reactions, and their implementation remains uncertain in the face of Kiev's position and the complicated international situation.
