In Zelenogorsk, a fisherman was rescued from thin ice of the Kan River

22 November 15:37
In Zelenogorsk, rescuers evacuated a 57-year-old fisherman who found himself on thin ice on the Kan River. This was reported to KSKU “Rescuer”.
The incident occurred on November 21 near the ferry crossing. Several gullies formed under the man, and there was a real threat of falling through the ice. Employees of the Zelenogorsk search and rescue department promptly arrived at the scene and helped the man get to shore safely.
Rescuers remind: the ice on the region’s reservoirs remains fragile. Going out onto it, and even more so traveling by transport, is extremely dangerous.
Take care of yourself and follow safety measures!
