According to the food blogger, this cake is prepared in 15 minutes and turns out incredibly tender and tasty.
The author of the video noted that this simple recipe can be used during a long power outage due to massive attacks by Russian invaders on Ukrainian energy facilities.
Products for cream
- 3 yolks;
- 150 g sugar;
- 60 g starch;
- 800 ml milk;
- 50 g butter;
- a pinch of vanillin.
Products for crusts
- 500 g flour;
- 150 g cold butter;
- 100 g sugar.
Preparation
- Place the yolks in a thick-bottomed saucepan, add sugar and vanillin. Stir.
- Place the pan on the fire and, stirring, wait until the sugar dissolves and the mass itself becomes more fluffy. At this stage add starch. Stir.
- Pour in the milk in a thin stream, stirring the mixture constantly. Wait until the cream boils.
- Add butter to the finished cream and mix. Cover the cream with cling film and leave to cool.
- Prepare the cakes. To do this, mix flour, butter and sugar. Grind everything until it becomes crumbly.
- Pour the crumbs into the pan. Fry it until golden brown.
- Line the bottom of the pan with parchment and cover the sides with cling film.
- Form the cake. To do this, grease the bottom of the mold with cream, and then alternate a layer of crumbs and a layer of cream. You will get three layers of dough and three layers of cream.
- Sprinkle crumbs on top of the cake.
- Place the cake in the refrigerator for three hours.
