The court arrested the head of the department of the center “E” of the Krasnoyarsk Territory police

The Central District Court of Krasnoyarsk took into custody the head of the department of the Center for Combating Extremism of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He is suspected of receiving a bribe on an especially large scale.
The police's own security staff established that in 2021, the officer received a smartphone and 200 thousand rubles from a resident of Krasnoyarsk. According to investigators, the money was payment for refusing to carry out operational search activities against this person.
The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for two months – until January 18, 2026. The accused will be held in pre-trial detention center No. 1 in Krasnoyarsk.
The policeman has already been suspended. If his guilt is confirmed, he will be dismissed from the authorities on negative grounds, after which he will face criminal punishment.
