The coach of the FC Rapid Bucharest football team, Constantin Gâlcă, said on Friday, in a press conference, that he wants his team to play a perfect match and put CFR Cluj in difficulty.
“All the matches played so far have been difficult. Regardless of whether they are in the first or second half of the ranking, the teams are good, balanced. CFR is going through a less good period, the coach changed. I saw the attitude of the players in the last match and I can say that the team has changed for the better, it has a positive energy. But we want to play a perfect match and put CFR Cluj in difficulty. We want to have that defensive balance to be able to keep the opponent in his half and let's score as many goals as possible”, said Constantin Gâlcă, according to the Agerpres agency.
“The duel will be with CFR, not with the new coach (no – Daniel Pancu). We know that CFR has experienced players, they are going through a less good moment, but they want to enter the play-offs. Naturally, their coach also wants to win this match, to impose himself as quickly as possible, to see his mark. But what is important is what we do, the confidence we have. The championship is not over, we still have important matches to play”, he added the technician.
The FC Rapid football team meets CFR Cluj on Sunday, at 20:30, at the “Dr. Constantin Rădulescu” Stadium in Cluj-Napoca, in a match counting for the 17th stage of the SuperLiga.
