In Lesosibirsk, the 16-year-old “collector” scored the debtor and was hiding for 24 years from the investigation

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, investigators revealed the murder committed 24 years ago.

In the regional investigation, they said that in 2001 in Lesosibirsk, a 52-year-old man was found in one of the hut houses. He was brutally beaten. On this fact, a criminal case was opened under Part 4 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, resulting in the death of the victim by negligence).

It was not possible to immediately open the case. Only in 2025, investigators returned to the re -study of the collected materials, studied the circle of communication of the deceased and the way of his life. In the disclosure of the criminal case, one of the witnesses, who was repeated again, helped.

A resident of Lesosibirsk, who was 16 years old, was involved in the murder. The man was detained. Under the weight of the evidence presented, he admitted to a crime.

“In June 2001, a resident of the city of Lesosibirsk turned to a 16-year-old young man and his friend with a request to help return the money that she lent to the neighbor. Together with the woman, young people headed for the debtor. The man ignored the request of the woman and refused to repay the duty. During the conflict, the minor inflicted more than 60 beats with his arms and legs on the head and body. From the injuries received, the man died at the scene“, – They told the press service.

The criminal case has already been sent to the prosecutor's office to approve the indictment for a 41-year-old man. Then the materials will be transferred to the court for consideration on the merits.
