The star participants in the music program of the XXII International Festival of Ethnic Music and Crafts “WORLD OF Siberia”, which will be held from July 9 to 12 in the village of Shushenskoye in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, have become known.
The organizers report that this year the geography of the headliners covers seven countries. Spectators are promised a “bright, energetic show and mmusical journey to different parts of the planet.”
The first day of the festival will open JAN-e-JAN team with Armenian motifs in rock and funk processing. Will keep them company Sochi duet “Beloluna”whose music combines electronic eclecticism with live instruments.

On June 11, a group from China MaBang will demonstrate their creativity (translated as “Caravan”), who describes her style as a fusion of folk, rock and reggae. Then he will speak ensemble “Dzhangi” – a living legend of the Azerbaijani ethno-scene with a 30-year history, whose calling card is jazz mugham. The surprise of the festival will be premiere of a joint program between French singer Morgane Ji and Russian musician Gurude (“Master of Light”)
On the final day, viewers will hear the world-famous musical trio Ay Yola from Bashkortostan, combining ancient images, traditional instruments, electronics and brutal throat singing with gentle female vocals. A The program will end with a DJ set from the Uzbek team Qaraqoomturning the folklore of ancient Khorezm into dance tracks.
