Unfortunately, if we were a little more careful there… I understood that it was also offside, I saw now. I feel sorry for FCSB's goalkeeper, he's a young, talented kid and I'm sure he'll be back soon.”

Asked about the situation of his team, in the context in which Unirea Slobozia has not yet obtained the Super League license, Alex Albu admitted that the situation affects the players:

Yes, it grinds us down. We also read the press from time to time, at least I try to avoid it, because I don't want to get into that state. But it happens that friends and family also write to us and ask us if it's true. It's important to be focused on the upcoming match and do our job on the field.”

Albu, about the FCSB players: “They were talking a lot. It's not OK to talk like that”

Albu then referred to the dialogues during the match, claiming that the opponents would have talked a lot and would have been frustrated at not being able to reach the goal, without naming names.

“I want FCSB to play the same way in the next match, like with us. On the field, they told us that we were relegating, that they wanted to beat us… we hope to play the same way with those from Sibiu. I think the best has to be seen on the field.

They were a bit frustrated that they weren't getting to the goal, I have no way of knowing exactly, but it's not OK to talk like that. I'm not naming names, it's not nice. You know the guys there, because they talk a lot. Several people spoke, not only to me, to most of the players they told them. But they made us stronger and we are happy with this point. We're on our own.”
