A new art object was installed in the Oktyabrsky district of Krasnoyarsk

In Krasnoyarsk, a new art object was installed in Lake Park, the mayor’s office reported.

This is the sculpture “Mother Nature” created by Alena Davydova. The idea was born as a graduation project and came to life thanks to the ISKRA grant competition.

First, the author made a model of the sculpture, which was divided into 17 fragments. To cast the figure, dividing plates were installed along the contour and a reinforcement frame was created. The whole thing was then covered with layers of plaster.

“After the mold had dried, the pieces were carefully removed. The resulting gypsum fragments were carefully cleaned from the separating layer. After this, lump casting was carried out. This stage required extreme precision and accuracy to ensure the high quality of the final product,” Alena said about the creation of the work.

Now “Mother Nature” can be seen in the Lake Park of the Oktyabrsky district.
