The speaker of the State Border Guard Service noted that Ukraine accepts its citizens “in any case.”
“The circumstances are being clarified as to why a decision was made to forcefully expel them,” Demchenko said.
According to him, the border guards processed the deportees “for entry into Ukraine in accordance with the rules defined by law.”

On November 14, The Washington Post reported, citing an order from the US Department of Justice, that Washington was preparing to deport a “significant number” of Ukrainians.
Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Olga Stefanishyna said that the embassy is aware of “approximately 80 Ukrainian citizens” against whom final deportation decisions were made “due to violations of US law.”
