The DION platform from the Russian IT holding T1 enters the Belarusian market

November 19 11:11

Vendor NOTA (T1 IT holding) and iqData (SoftLine Direct LLC) announce joint plans to introduce the DION corporate communications platform to the market of the Republic of Belarus.

The partner will host DION on its own cloud resources. This will ensure compliance with local legal requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards for storing and transmitting information. In addition, the local iqData cloud will become the basis for subsequent certification of the solution in the Republic of Belarus.

Today iqData has received 5,500 DION licenses for further implementation with customers, five of which are already in the piloting process. The company also transferred its own internal communications to the DION platform.

The agreement provides for exclusive cooperation – iqData will be the exclusive partner of DION in the Republic of Belarus.

The partner is also developing a competence center: on its basis, technical, product and pre-sale expertise is formed, implementation teams are trained and certified, and pilots are conducted. The implementation architecture provides flexible scenarios. One of them is a hybrid scheme: part of the services runs in the iqData cloud, and the other in the Russian DION circuit. Another option is a “private cloud” using iqData facilities with dedicated resources for a specific company.

“Despite the habit of using Western services, local organizations are increasingly thinking about alternatives,” commented Anton Spirin, Deputy General Director for Business Development at NOTA (IT holding T1).

“We are pleased to conclude an exclusive agreement with DION and want to thank the vendor for the trust they have placed in us,” said Andrey Ovseiko, CEO of iqData.

Near-term plans include expanding the pool of pilots, scaling training for the partner's growing team, and holding regular product events for IT departments and the business. The parties are also considering the adaptation of individual DION functions to the specifics of the local market and the potential for extending the proven cooperation model to other CIS countries.
