Pugacheva rarely talks about her personal life, but in the fall of 2025, in a conversation with Russian journalist Katerina Gordeeva, she openly spoke about what really connects her with her husband.
According to Pugacheva, who married unloved men three times, when she met Galkin, she truly fell in love.
“I fell in love, and that’s it. I realized that this was what I needed. And he understood. It was strange, sometimes it was even unclear to me how it happened – absolute harmony. We are in some identical families [росли] – Well, I was earlier, of course, he was later, – but we have absolutely the same upbringing, some kind of attitude, nobility. It’s not just about some kind of sexual relationship, but also about friendship, understanding and support,” she said. – What is a family? It's not just sex, right?”
Wedding
They got married on December 23, 2011. In an interview with Gordeeva, the artist called Galkin her greatest happiness.
“This is happiness. This is real happiness. I can’t even talk about it. He has an amazing talent – to love me, love my family and take care of me. I still had a lot of marriages,” the singer admitted.
Personal life after 50 years
Pugacheva does not hide the fact that the 27-year age difference does not interfere with her and her husband’s marital happiness.
“There are different ways to have fun without age getting in the way,” she hinted.
Children
The couple are raising a son, Harry, and a daughter, Lisa, who gave birth to twins on September 8, 2013, by a surrogate mother.
What Galkin says about his wife
In 2019, Galkin in an interview with the Russian YouTube project “Should we talk?” spoke frankly about his first and only marriage with Pugacheva.
“Alla once said: “Can I grow old with you calmly?” I told her: “Yes.” In the sense that I will not change her, I will not change what we have. She can be calm,” he admitted.
Galkin emphasized that he does not feel the age difference or that his wife is aging.
“I don’t feel it. When you live with a person, you can’t feel any sudden changes. Initially, I was such a pensioner at heart, and she was young. That is, easy-going, easy to make decisions,” the showman noted.
Rumors about Galkin's homosexuality
In an interview with Gordeeva, Pugacheva publicly responded for the first time to the rumors spread by Russian propagandists about Galkin, claiming that he is gay.
“Call him a pot, just don’t put it in the oven. What difference does it make? This is their favorite topic. Who isn’t gay now? It just seems like everyone. This one is gay, this one is gay, hey, hey. It doesn’t concern us. Let them say whatever they want. As long as everything is fine with us,” she said.
Galkin himself said six years ago that he “did not confirm these rumors with anything.”
“It seems to me that these kinds of rumors accompany me periodically throughout my life. I don’t know why. Maybe because I have such an intonation, maybe some kind of intelligence. I have not confirmed this with anything in my life,” he said.
The showman said that rumors about his homosexuality were spread by his colleagues, and probably out of envy. Galkin added that he does not respond to rumors.
