In Achinsk, a 35-year-old man will stand trial for a brutal double murder. This was reported to the regional prosecutor's office.
Everything happened in February 2025. At night, a jealous man came to the house of his wife, with whom he was in divorce proceedings, and pierced the tires of his new chosen one’s car with a knife.
In the morning, the emotions did not subside and the man returned to his wife’s house again. He waited for his wife’s lover to leave the apartment and stabbed him several times in the entrance. Trying to escape, the man ran out into the street, but the attacker overtook him there too. The victim died on the spot from his injuries.
A few minutes later, the aggressor’s wife ran out into the street. Before that, she managed to call her mother, who lived next door. The woman saw from the window how her son-in-law was pursuing her daughter and screamed, demanding that it stop. However, the man brought his criminal plan to the end.
“In a snow-covered area of the yard, he grabbed his wife, threw her to the ground and began to coldly beat her with a knife. The victim begged not to take her life, after which she died. The mother, powerless to help, watched her daughter’s death from the window of her apartment,” the prosecutor’s office said.
The prosecutor charged the man with deliberate destruction of property (Part 1 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and double murder with extreme cruelty (paragraphs “a”, “d” of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The Krasnoyarsk Regional Court will consider the criminal case.
