In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, cases of influenza were laboratory confirmed for the first time this season. According to Rospotrebnadzor, the genetic material of the virus was detected in 0.1% of samples taken from patients with ARVI symptoms over the past two weeks.
The overall incidence of respiratory infections in the region does not yet exceed the epidemic threshold. Over the past week, people consulted doctors with cold symptoms 10,085 people. The main pathogens continue to be non-influenza viruses.
The department reminds of the importance of timely vaccination while the favorable situation continues.
1 million 230 thousand residents of the region have already received the flu vaccine, almost 372 thousand of them are children.
