Cosmonaut Kirill Peskov met with convicted Nazarovo teenagers

Residents of Nazarov met with test cosmonaut Kirill Peskov, who grew up in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The event at the Palace of Culture was attended by employees of the penal inspection and minor wards sentenced to non-custodial sentences.

The astronaut spoke about his path to the cosmonaut corps, work on the ISS and experiments in space. Peskov paid special attention to the selection criteria for cosmonauts, emphasizing that even people from small towns can achieve the goal. After the official part, an autograph session took place, where everyone had the opportunity to communicate with a fellow countryman.

Kirill Peskov is the only representative of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the cosmonaut corps. A graduate of Nazarovsk School No. 14, he went from a passenger Boeing pilot to a participant in the space expedition to the ISS in 2025.

For teenagers who find themselves in difficult life situations, the meeting became an example of how one can achieve success despite the circumstances.
