

He assured that the consular service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in constant contact with citizens of Ukraine, and embassies work with local services and European partners.
“We are actively monitoring the situation in the Middle East after the aggravation of the situation around Iran. As of now, fortunately, there is no information about injuries or deaths of Ukrainian citizens as a result of the deteriorating security situation. We are aware of problems with flights in those countries where the skies are closed. In all situations, embassies are in touch with citizens and provide the necessary consultations,” the minister noted.
Sibiga said that in cooperation with European partners, some Ukrainian citizens have already been transferred by land to safe places in Egypt. As of today, approximately 30 Ukrainians have contacted the Foreign Ministry’s 24-hour hotline, mainly due to delayed flights.
“We are analyzing the development of events and working on all options for possible scenarios and actions (including evacuation) to ensure that the citizens of Ukraine are safe. I ask Ukrainians who are in the countries of the region to observe security measures, carefully follow the messages of our diplomatic institutions and local authorities of the host countries,” the head of the department added.
He also noted that he had addressed his colleague from the United Arab Emirates with a request to provide Ukrainian citizens in the UAE with the necessary protection and care under the current circumstances.
And had a call with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of UAE, HH Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
And expressed Ukraine's solidarity with the UAE, which has suffered a particularly large number of reckless Iranian attacks in recent days.
