Three ATP Top 10 players were eliminated in the third round at Indian Wells on Monday, March 9. They are the Australian Alex De Minaur (27 years old, 6 ATP), the American Taylor Fritz (28 years old, 7 ATP) and the Kazakh Alexander Bublik (28 years old, 10 ATP).
Not just in the women's competition at Indian Wells, where Mirra Andreeva (18 years old, 8 WTA) and Madison Keys (31 years old, 15 WTA) were eliminated, there were surprises, but also in the men's competition, with three players in the Top 10 losing on the same day.
