In winter I hardly get sick: I prepare a delicious drink for the immune system – relevant during the cold season

With the onset of cold weather, many people experience runny nose, cough and fatigue. Doctors recommend taking antiviral drugs to prevent ARVI.

But there is a way to support the body without expensive vitamins and pharmaceuticals. Experienced housewives shared a recipe for a drink that can be prepared at home from simple ingredients.

Ingredients

  • Lemon – 1 pc.
  • Ginger – small piece (2-3 cm)
  • Honey – 1-2 teaspoons
  • Water – 500 ml

How to cook

  1. Cut the lemon into slices. Peel the ginger and cut into thin slices.
  2. Place everything in a glass jar or jug.
  3. Fill with boiled water at room temperature.
  4. Close the lid and leave it overnight in the kitchen or on the windowsill.
  5. In the morning you will get a fragrant and rich drink. Add honey before use to preserve its beneficial properties.

Lemon is rich in vitamin C, which helps the body fight viruses and strengthens the immune system. Ginger has an anti-inflammatory effect, improves blood circulation and warms. Honey nourishes the body and supports the immune system, and also soothes the throat at the first sign of a cold.

A glass of drink in the morning on an empty stomach helps the body wake up and activates its defenses. You can drink small sips throughout the day.

This simple and inexpensive drink helps strengthen your immune system, reduce the risk of colds and give you energy for the whole day. Infuse it overnight, drink with pleasure and watch how your body copes better with the cold season.
