On November 12 in Krasnoyarsk, at the site of the creative cluster “Kvadrat”, the Colisium-Siberia music forum was held, bringing together everyone who lives by music and is involved in the development of the industry.
In 2025, the event was co-organized by the Siberian Institute for the Development of Creative Industries. As the director of the institute, Alexander Chernikov, noted, participation in the forum is a starting point for the development of musical trends in the region:
“We have collected the most relevant topics that are useful to both professionals and people outside the industry who are interested in music. The composition of experts, the number of participants and feedback from forum guests demonstrates the interest of the entire Siberian Federal District in this direction. As an organization involved in the development of the creative economy of the region, economic indicators are primarily important to us. In this sense, interest in the music industry is more than justified: the performing arts occupy one of the leading positions in terms of contribution to GRP. Our goal is to increase the results.”
The forum program was divided into two streams. Music Distribution was dedicated to the organization of the music market, the operation of streaming services and the promotion of artists. At the end of the forum, experts analyzed and gave valuable advice on 11 participants’ tracks. As part of the Live Entertainment area, they discussed the work of concert agencies, festivals, event venues and new theatrical formats, as well as innovations in ticketing technologies.
The forum speakers were representatives of UU Sound, Voice of Nomads, Stereoleto, MTS Label, MTS Music, Zvonko Digital and other specialists.
The event was attended by almost 300 delegates from Krasnoyarsk, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Zheleznogorsk, Moscow, Kansk, Abakan, Irkutsk, Dudinka, Omsk and Yakutsk.
“First of all, we wanted to create professional connections between different sectors of the industry – federal and regional, to stretch these “threads” between labels, streaming services, distributors and concert venues. And, judging by the number of live interactions between participants and experts at the forum, this was done,” said Sergei Babich, director of the Colisium forum.
The final format of the forum was the Colisium Showcase at the Yushin Brothers club, where the groups “My Dad is a Pianist”, “Obereg” and artists AINA and Ivan Kovalenko performed. The experts expressed their readiness to provide some of them with specialized support.
