  • 1 herring;

  • 1 sour apple;
  • 180 g butter;
  • 0.5 tsp. black pepper;
  • 1 tbsp. l. lemon juice;
  • 1 slice of loaf;
  • 2 tbsp. l. milk;
  • black pepper to taste.

Preparation

  1. Separate the fillet from the bones. Check that there are no small bones left.
  2. Pour milk over the bread, and when it gets wet, drain. Add the bread crumb to the finely chopped herring fillet.
  3. Chop the onion into very small pieces.
  4. Peel the apple and chop finely.
  5. Add apples, onions, black pepper and butter to the fish.
  6. At the end, add lemon juice and mix everything again.
  7. Serve mincemeat by spreading it on black bread.
