The author of the video emphasized that the fish fillet for mincemeat in Odessa should be finely chopped with a knife and under no circumstances be ground in a meat grinder until it becomes a pate. The food blogger assured that mincemeat according to this recipe is tender, tasty and aromatic.
Products
- 1 herring;
- 1 tasty and juicy onion;
- 1 sour apple;
- 180 g butter;
- 0.5 tsp. black pepper;
- 1 tbsp. l. lemon juice;
- 1 slice of loaf;
- 2 tbsp. l. milk;
- black pepper to taste.
Preparation
- Separate the fillet from the bones. Check that there are no small bones left.
- Pour milk over the bread, and when it gets wet, drain. Add the bread crumb to the finely chopped herring fillet.
- Chop the onion into very small pieces.
- Peel the apple and chop finely.
- Add apples, onions, black pepper and butter to the fish.
- At the end, add lemon juice and mix everything again.
- Serve mincemeat by spreading it on black bread.
