The Labor Detachment of the City Head (TOGG) will take part in preparations for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk; possible formats for including fighters in resolving issues of improvement were discussed with Sergei Vereshchagin. During the meeting with the mayor, young people spoke about the achievements of the project and presented plans for 2026.
“Now we have different types of teams – sewing, carpentry, art, mobile, inclusive, urban, excursion and others. We try to make sure that the children receive not only their first professional experience, but also everyday skills. This year we will expand the financial direction, organize classes on financial literacy and cybersecurity, and for the best fighters we will conduct a three-day intensive course on developing leadership skills,” said Roman Vitenko, head of the “City Mayor’s Labor Detachment” project.
It is planned that in preparation for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk, TOGG fighters will take part in landscaping and decorating the city.
“We face serious challenges in preparing for the anniversary. And attracting a labor force is not a solution to the issue of additional labor, but providing schoolchildren with a real opportunity to contribute to the development of their hometown and its transformation. For example, one of the areas of activity where we plan to involve fighters is landscaping, decorating our public spaces and road junctions with flower plantings and decorative figures. I have already set this task for the relevant structures,” noted Sergei Vereshchagin.
The geography of project participants will expand this year. Schoolchildren from territories that have become part of greater Krasnoyarsk will also be able to submit applications. At the same time, it is planned to continue interaction with young people after their work in the Labor detachment of the city head. For this purpose, the issue of creating a new site is currently being considered – the House of Working Youth at the address: st. Semaphore, 193.
In total, 5.5 thousand temporary jobs will be created this year within the framework of TOGG. Teenagers from 14 to 17 years old can become fighters, and young people from 18 to 35 years old can become foremen. In total, during the existence of the project, over 21 years, over 150 thousand people were employed.
