A Norilsk woman sued an entrepreneur for an investment course that did not meet her expectations. This was reported by Rospotrebnadzor.

The woman came across an advertisement for the course on Telegram and decided to take online training. To do this, the Norilsk woman entered into a contract for the provision of services for a fee with an individual entrepreneur. The main condition for training was payment for the course using a loan from the partner’s bank.

As it turned out later, out of 500,000 rubles taken on credit: 350,000 rubles were the cost of training, 100,000 rubles were payment for practicing the skills acquired during the training process, and 50,000 were the cost of services for obtaining a loan.

“According to the student, she decided to stop studying due to the discrepancy between the course and her expectations. Having filed a claim for termination of the training contract and a refund minus the expenses incurred, I received a refusal,” the department said.

Rospotrebnadzor specialists helped the victim draw up a statement of claim in court to protect her rights. With IP Kotlyarova E.V. More than 460,000 rubles were recovered in favor of the consumer, of which:

  • the balance of funds under the agreement is 291,666 rubles;
  • penalty – 10,719 rubles;
  • moral damage – 10,000 rubles;
  • fine – 150,583 rubles.

The decision came into force.
