Approximately 30% of our population now smokes, of which at least half are heavy smokers, according to various estimates from a third to a half
– reported at Sechenov University.
The doctor noted that at the same time, the share of those who want to quit smoking is decreasing – in particular, according to a survey by VTsIOM, “over five years, the share of those who want to quit smoking has decreased from 79-80% to 62%.”
