In Krasnoyarsk, a court sentenced an international-class rhythmic gymnastics coach for drug possession, the press service of the regional prosecutor's office reported.
In the summer of 2025, a 28-year-old woman flew from St. Petersburg to visit a friend in Krasnoyarsk, where they rented an apartment for drug use. At the same time, the woman hid some of the prohibited substances in her bag.
“At night, while in a state of drug intoxication, the couple went out into the common corridor in their underwear and began to pull the handles of their neighbors’ front doors. Residents of the apartment building reported the incident to the police. As a result of an inspection of the apartment, drugs were found in the guest’s bag,” the supervisory agency said.
A criminal case was opened on this fact Part 2 Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal acquisition and storage without the purpose of selling narcotic drugs on a large scale). The court sentenced the former athlete to 3 years of suspended imprisonment with a probationary period of 3 years.
