A gas processing plant is on fire in the Russian Stavropol region after a drone attack


He did not indicate what exactly was burning in the industrial zone.

“According to operational data, there are no casualties, residential buildings are not damaged, life support systems are operating as normal,” he wrote on Telegram.



The Ukrainian monitoring channel Exilenova+ claims that the Stavrolen gas processing plant, a subsidiary of Lukoil, is on fire. On October 29, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported attacks on this enterprise. It supplies gas to a number of enterprises in the region and is a source of raw materials for the petrochemical industry.



The Russian Ministry of Defense reported in the morning that 22 drones were shot down, including four in the Stavropol Territory.
