A 24-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk will stand trial for assault on a stranger. This was reported in the press service of the regional police.
It all happened in June 2025, a tipsy guy met a married couple in the city center on Lenin Street. For some reason, he decided that the couple needed help, and volunteered to walk the strangers home. However, during the conversation, a conflict arose between the Krasnoyarsk residents. The young man used physical force, took a ring worth 2.5 thousand rubles from the man and disappeared.
The victim turned to the police for help and told law enforcement officers about what happened. Based on this fact, a criminal case was opened under Part 1 of Art. 162 “Robbery” of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the attacker was quickly found and detained.
Now the guy is under recognizance not to leave the place and proper behavior. He faces up to 8 years in prison. The young man had not previously been brought to criminal liability.
