Russia launched new air attacks in the night from Monday to Tuesday on the Ukrainian ports on the Danube, MApN informs. Army investigates 'possible drone fragments' found near Ukraine border.

MApN radars signaled the presence of groups of drones in the area adjacent to the national airspace, which led to the preventive activation of anti-aircraft defense systems.

The weather conditions in the south-eastern part of the country did not allow the Air Police combat service aircraft to take off.

At 00:07, an RO-alert message was issued for the population in the north of Tulcea county.

According to MApN, a large number of explosions were recorded on the Ukrainian side of the Danube, in the area of ​​the port of Izmail.

At 01:09, MApN was informed about the ground impact of an air vehicle, in the Grindu area, approximately 5 km south of the border.

Military teams went to the scene and reported the presence of possible drone fragments. The area was secured, with investigations to be carried out in the early hours of the morning.
