The weather starts to warm up from Monday, when temperatures will rise to the 20 degree Celsius mark. Towards the end of the week, however, the meteorologists announce the return of the rains and a slight cooling, towards the normal values ​​for this period.

A strong wind advisory issued by meteorologists is valid until 18:00 on Sunday, especially in the east of the country, where gusts reach 45–50 km/h. In mountainous areas, the wind blows more intensely, with speeds of 60–80 km/h.

In the Capital, the weather is closed on Sunday and it will temporarily rain lightly. The wind blows moderately, with gusts of 35–40 km/h, and the maximum temperature is around 10 degrees.

ANM meteorologist Diana Giurgiu told Digi24 on Sunday that the beginning of the week brings a gradual increase in temperatures, above the normal for the period.

“For the southeastern part of the territory, especially against the background of the persistence of clouds and rains, in the coming days there will be a thermal regime slightly below the specifics of the period, and at least for the part of the intra-Carpathian regions, especially for the northwestern part, thermal values ​​that will be above those specific for this date”, declared the meteorologist.

“Half of next week comes with the warming of the weather throughout the country. For the western and southern part we will have values ​​during the day of 18-19 degrees Celsius, maybe isolated even 20”, said Diana Giurgiu.

After this warmer episode, in the second part of the week, the rains appear, and the temperatures drop slightly, towards the values ​​specific to the period.

“After the middle of the week, so the 2nd part of the week, towards the end of the week, it is a signal and it comes with a cooling of the weather, but a cooling that brings us back to a thermal normal of the period we are in,” declared ANM meteorologist Diana Giurgiu.

What will the Easter weather be like?

This year Easter will be celebrated on different dates: April 5 for Catholics and April 12 for Orthodox.

Meteorologists estimate that, in the first part of April, the temperatures will be around those specific to this period of the year, as will the amounts of precipitation.

During the week of March 30-April 6, average temperatures will generally be close to normal for this range in most regions, possibly slightly lower in the western regions.

The amounts of precipitation will be close to the normal ones for this period in the northwestern regions, and in the rest they will be surplus, especially in the southern and southwestern regions.

During the week of April 16-13, the average air temperature will have values ​​close to normal for this interval, in all regions.

The rainfall regime will be close to the normal one for this period, at the level of the entire country.
