Romania qualifies mathematically if they win

After the victory in the first stage, Romania is overwhelmingly already qualified for the next stage. A win against Japan would make things mathematically clear as well. The “tricolor” team has two points and a +9 goal difference at the moment.

Denmark, the group favorite and one of the candidates for the big trophy, also has two points. Japan and Croatia are at parameter zero.

Romania must finish in the top 3 of the group to qualify further. Only a disaster would make the “tricolors” not qualify for the second phase of the competition in Holland and Germany.
