“I haven’t made it to the national selection many times already. Even my million-selling songs “Strength of Family” or “I’m Not Your Mother” were not taken to the national selection. However, they are super popular, millions of views, so it doesn’t mean anything. To be honest, I don’t really believe that any ordinary person can get through. I think that godfather, brother, matchmaker pull their own up. It seems to me so,” said the artist.
She admitted that she dreams of winning the national selection.
“It’s just that the national selection is my dream. Perhaps, if it weren’t for this event, I would have put off writing the song for a long time. And this was a good incentive. Still, there is some kind of faith, there is always hope. You have to move towards your dream. Therefore, I do my job and don’t worry whether I will pass or not. In any case, it will not affect anything. I, of course, would be glad to pass, but I know how to lose,” she added.
According to Slavia, she doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone or “work like a horse” to release a certain number of songs per year for quantity.
“I’m not about that. I’m about feelings. I write about how I feel when there are some important events in my life that inspire me,” she said.

“Eurovision 2026” will take place in the Austrian capital Vienna. The first semi-final of the competition is scheduled for May 12, the second – for May 14, and the grand final will take place on May 16.
The Ukrainian national selection started on September 3. You can apply until October 27 at website organizers of the national selection. The national selection final will take place in February 2026.
