Ukraine struck a third time at a refinery and oil pumping station in Russian Perm


On the night of May 8, drones of the Security Service of Ukraine attacked the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez oil refinery and a linear production and control station in the Perm region of the aggressor country of Russia. The press service of the SBU reported this on May 8 in Telegram.

Both sites are located more than 1,500 km from the border with Ukraine.

As a result of the attack, according to the SBU, a fire occurred at the refinery at one of the AVT units, which is the main unit for primary oil refining. One of the tanks at the oil pumping station was hit.

In the morning, the Governor of the Perm Territory, Dmitry Makhonin, reported on a drone raid on industrial facilities in the Perm Territory.

As the Ukrainian monitoring channel Exilenova+ noted: “You won’t believe it, but Perm is again…”
