Ukrainian presenter Ramina Eskhakzai won over businessman Igor Kolomoisky, who is now in custody, thanks to expensive shoes from the Italian brand Loro Piana. She told the details of this story in a new episode of the author’s YouTube show of Ukrainian presenter Andrei Bednyakov. The video was published on May 2.
Eskhakzai admitted that she had dreamed of this brand for a long time, but did not dare to buy because of its high cost.
“I wanted this luxury life, but it’s a pity to spend money. And when I already had a Chanel handbag, my own channel. And we have an element of luxury, Loro Piana. And when I already had advertisers, the channel already had more than 500 thousand subscribers, my mother said: “Well, Rami, well, well, buy yourself these Loro Piana that you want.” I’m like: “Damn, the toad is choking. I don’t want to go,” Eshakzai admitted.
According to the presenter, one day she finally bought herself these expensive shoes and went to meet her friends in them.
“My friends and I are having dinner and someone is having a birthday there at the same time. And Igor Kolomoisky comes to this birthday,” she described the situation.
Eshakzai admitted that she immediately wanted to arrange an interview with him for her YouTube channel.
“I see he’s already getting ready to go out, he’s standing near the door. I’m like, “That’s it, I’m going.” Igor Valerievich, good afternoon. My name is Ramina. I want to interview you,” she described the dialogue with Kolomoisky.
The blogger noted that the businessman did not know who she was at the time, and the first thing he noticed was her expensive shoes. According to the blogger, he asked again if this was really the case, to which he received an affirmative answer.
“He says: “Do you make good money?” I’m like: “Well, yes. I’m actually a popular YouTube blogger, I can afford it.” He’s like, “What do you mean? Journalists don’t earn much.” I’m like, “Well, I’m actually a successful YouTuber. And I bought this myself. So, when will you come to me for an interview?” He says: “Leave your number, I’ll call you,” she recounted.
Eskhakzai noted that she had to write down her phone number on a napkin, and soon Kolomoisky actually called back.
“I’m sitting in a restaurant one day. Igor Kolomoisky is dialing, he said that I’m in show business, but he’s not show business,” she said.
The presenter did not specify what year it was.
