In the Balakhtinsky district, a court sentenced a woman who illegally helped foreigners register for migration. This was reported to the regional prosecutor's office.

According to the supervisory authority, in February 2025, a resident of the village of Toyluk decided to help foreign citizens formally register their stay in Russia. The woman applied to the multifunctional center with applications to register two citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan for migration registration.

Later, the investigation and the court established that the attacker was not the receiving party. Moreover, the house she indicated had by that time been destroyed by fire and was uninhabitable. However, despite this, foreigners turned out to be registered at an invalid address.

“Such actions violated the requirements of the rules for migration registration of foreign citizens and misled the internal affairs bodies about the actual location of persons located on the territory of Russia,” the prosecutor’s office explained.

The court found the woman guilty of fictitiously registering foreign citizens (Article 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and sentenced her to 1 year of suspended imprisonment with a probationary period of 6 months.
