General promotions in the police, border service and fire brigade. The minister selected three officers
The nominees were: insp. Artur Bednarek from the Police, who was promoted to the rank of superintendent, colonel of the Border Guard Daniel Wojtaszkiewiczpromoted to brigadier general of the Border Guard, and senior brig. Jacek Niewęgłowskiwho was promoted to the rank of overbrigadier of the State Fire Service.
The acts of appointment will be presented on November 11, 2025 at Marshal Józef Piłsudski Square – during the celebration of the National Independence Day.
Superintendent Artur BednarekProvincial Commander of the Police in Kraków, has been a policeman since 1991. He served, among others, Lubiniec, Herbach, Częstochowa, Kielce and Katowice.
Brig. Gen. SG Daniel Wojtaszkiewiczcommander of the Warmian-Masurian Border Guard Unit, is a graduate of the Land Forces Officers' College in Wrocław. He worked in facilities in Chyżne, Kielce and Lesznowola.
Brig. Jacek Niewęgłowskiprovincial commander of the State Fire Service in Gdańsk, has been a firefighter since 1989. He graduated from the Fire Warrant Officers' School in Poznań. Then he worked in Wejherowo and Gdynia.
