— There's nothing to be happy about, because it doesn't look nice at all. But from the perspective of the interests of Polish democracy and the condition of the Polish political system, it is very important that Poles saw that it was a very winding road, but the settlements were becoming a fact. – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk after the vote in the Sejm.
The Prime Minister also addressed the question about possible actions of the services regarding the detention of Zbigniew Ziobro, who is currently in Budapest.

— I won't send commando units to Budapest. That's not how it works. When this is possible, the prosecutor's office will decide. The services have nothing to do with this, Tusk emphasized.
Controversy surrounding Hungary's decision
Prime Minister Donald Tusk also expressed his concern about the attitude of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on this matter, emphasizing that decisions made in Budapest may unnecessarily exacerbate tensions in Polish-Hungarian relations. When asked whether Zbigniew Ziobro could apply for asylum in Hungary, Tusk replied that he was unable to predict his actions.
— I am not inside the former minister's head. I don't know, but I think it would be better for him to appear before the prosecutor's office and the court, he added.

The Prime Minister emphasized that currently Polish courts and prosecutor's offices operate fully independently. — My ministers are questioned many times by the prosecutor's office. Zbigniew Ziobro should fight for his good name in Poland and be brought to justice, he noted.
