PSD Mayor: “What are Grindeanu and the team from Bucharest playing at, we are heading towards the alliance with AUR” / “I have never felt so much hatred against us, as politicians”

The social-democratic mayor of Buzău, Constantin Toma, accused the PSD leadership of “playing a very dangerous game” and believes that the parties in the governing coalition are losing the trust of citizens, while AUR is “growing at full speed”.
Asked, on Digi24, in the Sunday edition of the “In front of you” show, under what conditions an alliance between PSD and AUR is possible, Constantin Toma answered: “Well, if we go down this line, we won't have a choice. I don't know, I hope this doesn't happen, but, in my opinion, what are Mr. Grindeanu and the team from Bucharest playing at, we are heading towards an alliance with AUR”.
“It's a disaster. So we're going head-to-head. I'm talking about all the parties in the coalition, maybe USR can move something more. Anyway, this was expected, because all this crazy game we're in only leads to the loss of trust in these parties. GOLD is growing at full speed,” the mayor continued.
“I've never felt so much hate against us”
Constantin Toma warned that “people are very dissatisfied”.
“I have been mayor for 10 years, I have never felt so much hatred against us, as politicians. There has never been anything like this – and a man who won the elections with 78%, with 67% tells you. It is an incredible thing. You are cursed for everything, you are guilty of everything, including the good things. Of course, Bucharest works a lot on this, that is, the decisions that are made at the level of the Government and the decisions that are not made at the level of Government”, continued the social-democratic mayor.
He believes that at the present time “the one who gathers and gathered the most hatred is Ilie Bolojan, by far. In second place, probably, Sorin Grindeanu”.
“My party plays a very dangerous game”
Asked what he is telling the PSD leaders from the center, to stay or leave the government, Constantin Toma said that the party “plays a very dangerous game”.
“My party is playing a very dangerous game. I don't know how aware those who lead the party are, I'm talking about Mr. Grindeanu and the team of six more people who are there, the five first vice-presidents and the general secretary. Because I don't think this game increases our number of voters at the moment or recovers anything from what we've lost. Because the world realizes, it's not stupid at all. This game is made only for the survival of the party – in fact, for their survival,” he added Constantin Toma.
