A question that comes up every Black Friday is “What time will eMAG start?”. The company isn't announcing a time, but generally says it will start the campaign “early in the morning.” But what does mathematics tell us for the last few years?
Over the past 13 years, eMAG has had the earliest Black Friday start at 6.50am and the latest at 8.20am, but over the past five years the start time hasn't varied much, being between 7.14am and 7.37am.
If we do a mathematical average for the editions of the last years, Black Friday started around 7.22. It does not mean that it will be like this this year, but it should not be far from that moment to start.
Why does the start time remain a secret? The people from eMAG explained that they want to find a balance with the start time, so as not to start too early, when many people are sleeping, but not too late, when people are on their way to work and cannot always be on the phone.
