The Minister of Development, Cseke Attila, clarifies the information that the authorities will be equipped with drones and will be able to fine those who have built illegally. The minister explains that such a system is implemented in other states, showing that, in parallel, the urbanism code will make changes, and for constructions such as garages, terraces, pergolas, summer kitchens will no longer need a building permit.
“We do not become the police of the wooden garages. What we do is to impose mechanisms to the local authorities, the possibility of identifying and including measuring through drones of illegally built constructions. No one, ”said Cseke Attila, on Tuesday evening, at Antena 3.
“Identify the building, there are high-performance drones that measure the building and, based on these evidence for which we create the legal basis, a fiscal role for the citizen who has built a house that he has not declared and for which he has to pay tax as everyone else has to pay,” added the minister, according to news.ro.
The minister explained that, at present, even if local administrations are aware of illegally erected constructions, it is difficult to act, as to enter a private property, the intervention of other state authorities is required.
“It is incorrect towards the citizen who pays his duties and who respects the rules and laws of this country, that others will not do so,” he added.
Cseke also announced that there will be changes in the urbanism code.
“We make some simplifications on these constructions. For example, garages, terraces, pergolas, summer kitchens will no longer need a building permit. I mean, we come in parallel and with some simplifications of the legislation so that you do not have to ask for, excuse me, for any quote,” the minister of building, “explained the minister.
