The contractor will pay 15 million rubles for disrupting the construction of a school in Krasnoyarsk Tihikh Zoryi

The Arbitration Court of the Krasnoyarsk Territory recovered 15.1 million rubles from the SeverStroy company as interest for the illegal use of budget funds.

As the prosecutor's office previously established, the company did not have the necessary experience to participate in a tender worth 1.5 billion rubles for the construction of a school in Tikhye Zorya. To circumvent the requirements, the director of SeverStroy provided a fictitious contract for the construction of a residential complex, which was actually built by other companies.

The contractor received an advance of 243 million rubles for the construction of the school, but was removed from work after a prosecutor’s inspection.

A criminal case has been opened regarding the use of a forged document. The head of the company has already been prosecuted and fined. The contractor returned the advance to the budget, but the customer demanded compensation for the illegal use of funds.

The court fully satisfied the claim of the city administration, declaring the contract invalid. The company's counterclaim for payment for work performed in the amount of 86 million rubles was rejected. The execution of the court decision was taken under control by supervisory authorities.

Let us remind you that the school in the Tikhie Zori microdistrict is designed for 1,550 students. In one shift, 62 classes will be able to study there.
