In accordance with the decree of the Blucherovsky (now Lenin) district committee of the CPSU (b), a festival of the school and teacher was held, dedicated to the results of the school year. Solemn meetings were held with the participation of parents and labor drummers, children's matinees, sports games were held. The tasks for the new academic year are defined.

The newspaper “Birobidzhan Star” (12+) on June 3, 1945 under the section “In our region” published material that the regional museum of local lore has opened. It consists of several departments: “nature”, “industry and agriculture”, “cultural construction” and “Jewish culture”.
The “Nature” department contains exhibits and materials telling about the wealth of the subsoil, about the flora and fauna of our region. In the next department, various products of the production of local industry enterprises and exhibits on agriculture were exhibited. The department “Cultural Construction” is widely shown the history of the Birobidzhan Jewish Theater. L.M. Kaganovich, growth dynamics in the field of health and public education. The Jewish Culture Department is divided into periods. The museum continues to be replenished with new exhibits.

The newspaper “Birobidzhan Star” on June 3, 1989 wrote about the first festival of Jewish song and music (0+), at present it is the International Festival of Jewish Culture and Art (0+).
The festival began with a tasting of Jewish cuisine dishes in the theater restaurant. Natalya Brodskaya introduced Jewish national dishes to the audience, among which was pike, Cemeted Carrot, Varnechkes, Latkes, Straid, Forshmak and much more.
The festival was invited: the soloist of the ensemble “Tsait” – Inna Slavskaya, Honored Artist of the RSFSR – Vladimir Terletsky. The concert was attended by Lev Gorelik, Mikhail Keyser, Lyudmila Kvasova, Anatoly Sosnovsky, Nina Gumenik. The festival was opened by the youngest artists of the Children's Philharmonic “Stoyal” under the leadership of Mikhail Chervitsa.

On the feast of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God, Bishop of the Birobidzhan and Kuldur Joseph, in the service of the secretary of the Birobidzhan diocese, abbess Innocent (Kosarikhin) and the clergy of the Cathedral of the Archpriest Nikolai Nikolaev committed the great consecration of the temple (0+) and the first divine liturgy (0+). At the end of it, Bishop Joseph turned to those present with the archpastoral word, and then talked with the staff of the colony and convicted persons.
In FSU LIU-2 pos. Bira of the Obluchensky district, – the arrival at the temple in the name of the Holy Great Martyr Anastasia Pattering is valid. In October 1997 at FSU LIU-2,-a medical institution of the village. Bira, on the initiative of employees and prisoners of the colony, a parish was formed. On June 3, 2003, the Birobidzhan Zvezda newspaper wrote that the regional center of the Federation of Internet Education federation had solemnly opened in Birobidzhan. The Jewish Autonomous Region has become a 36th Russian region, in which, thanks to the partnership of the Yukos oil company and the regional government, the possibility of teaching school teachers to modern information technologies.
In Birobidzhan, the first city competition of hairdressers “Golden Locon” (6+) ended. The organizers of the competition were the Committee of the Consumer Market and Services of the City Hall, the International School of Hairdressing from Khabarovsk Olga Pivint Pivint, Model Agency “Best”, LLC “Almila” and the company “Vlana”. The jury of the competition included not only local masters, but also guests of the city. The contest participants presented their work in four nominations: everyday women's and men's haircuts, avant -garde haircuts and hairstyle, and an evening hairstyle. The best masters of the city received an invitation to participate in the regional competition of hairdressing art (6+).
In Birobidzhan, the Dendro -Flora of the Jewish Autonomous Region (0+) was published in Birobidzhan, which was prepared by employees of the Institute for a Complex Analysis of Regional Problems of the Far Eastern RAS of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The book was prepared for the publication by the laboratory of floral and faunistic research. The author of the publication is a candidate of biological sciences Tamara Rubtsova. The reference book describes all woody species of EAO plants – trees, shrubs, vines, in total 165 species of flora were included in the publication.
